How affiliate links affect articles
They should not affect inclusion, ranking, criticism, or the final recommendation. If a product is a poor fit, we should say so even when an affiliate program exists.
Where commercial links appear
- Affiliate links may appear in clearly labeled article CTAs or product links.
- Editorial source links are kept separate from affiliate links.
- Sponsored placements, if added later, should be labeled as sponsored and should not change the verdict.
